Built together with the city's cathedral in the early 16th century, the La Giralda is a cherished symbol of Seville. Its unique architecture makes it a must-see for visitors, with the base of the tower being built in an Islamic style combined with the Renaissance style. The tower is a whopping 104 metres tall and the structure is encircled with golden medallions that bear the symbol of the city and Spain.
