📍 From Parque Bicentenario, Chile
La Búsqueda is a public sculpture by Chilean artist Hernán Puelma in Parque Bicentenario, in Santiago’s Vitacura district. Its boat-like structure and elongated human figures create an expressive silhouette amid the park’s lawns and open sky. The title translates as “The Search,” inviting a reading of the work as a journey or quest. Its visual character comes from the contrast between slender metal forms and the broad landscape around them: distant views emphasize the outline, while closer compositions reveal the figures’ exaggerated proportions and textured surfaces.
