The Kurfürstliches Palais durch die Hecke is a very unique and beautiful architectural masterpiece located in Trier, Germany. It is a Baroque-style, three-storey town palace. Constructed in 1730, the palace is situated inside of a walled garden. The central axis of the garden includes a unique series of hedges which have been retained since it was built in 1776. The building itself has an ornate façade with a trefoil bay, slender balconies and elegant windows. Inside, visitors are treated to views of a grandiose central staircase and large, elegant rooms. A separate horse stable is situated inside the garden, added in 1732.
