Korakuen is one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, situated in Okayama, Japan. It was laid out in 1700 by the feudal lord Ikeda Tsunamasa. The garden features a large central pond with a small island, encircled by hills, giving it an atmosphere of serenity and calm. The garden is home to many species of birds, and seasonal plants like cherry blossoms and Japanese maple trees. The garden is also home to several tea houses and teahouses.
