Knysna Waterfront is a marina and leisure precinct beside the Knysna Estuary, close to the town centre on South Africa’s Garden Route. Boardwalks connect restaurants, shops and quays where yachts and small working boats recall Knysna’s long relationship with fishing, timber shipping and coastal trade. The enclosed estuary creates calm water that often mirrors masts, façades and changing skies, while channels lead toward the distant Knysna Heads, the sandstone cliffs framing the narrow passage to the Indian Ocean. The most characteristic images combine boats and waterfront activity with the broad lagoon and wooded hills beyond.
