Kloster Nütschau
📍 Germany
Kloster Nütschau in Travenbrück, Germany is a beautiful and peaceful spot to visit, and is one of the most picturesque places in Germany. Founded by Count Hartward von Schwerin in the year 1000, it was officially converted into a Cistercian monastery in 1145. Today the grounds serve as a destination for visitors hoping to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy the tranquility of the monastery. It houses two beautiful churches - the main church with its distinctive tall tower and the smaller chapel - a number of outbuildings and a large courtyard. A walk through the grounds will give you the chance to admire the Cistercian architecture and admire the beautiful paintings, sculptures and altarpieces in the two churches.
