The Klementinum in Staré Město, Czechia is a stunning 18th century complex encompassing multiple monuments and buildings, making it a popular destination for visitors. Its oldest part is the Strahov Monastery, which dates back to 1143 and was originally located outside the city walls. The Klementinum is famous for its library hall and the astronomical tower, from which visitors can get a fantastic view of the Old Town. It also houses the National Library, established by Emperor Rudolf II in the late 16th century, as well as the Baroque Church-Mirror Chapel and the House of the Stone Bell. The complex also includes a historical observatory, the Municipal House and dozens of palaces, including the Church of St. Salvator and the Church of the Angels.
