Kjosfossen, in Aurland, Norway, is a stunning waterfall situated at the end of the stunning Aurlandsfjord, a 188-kilometer-long fjord near the village of Flåm. This majestic water feature is impressively located as it runs off the edge of the Aurlandsfjellet mountain and plummets over 125 meters into the Aurlandsfjord below. This popular spot draws many visitors to the area, providing an impressive photo opportunity for all. Accessing Kjosfossen can be done from the surrounding areas of Kampåhøgdi and Mågelibanen Road and from the nearby viewpoint at Kjosstranda. Here, visitors can get close enough to the waterfall to feel the spray and take a photograph. On the side of the waterfall, it is also possible to ascend to the top and see the top of Kjosfossen as it streams down into the depths below. There are also shorter, easier trails available around the base of the waterfall.
