Kinzua Bridge State Park is a unique sight in Kane, Pennsylvania. It is a designated Historic Civil Engineering Landmark and includes the Kinzua Viaduct. At its peak, the bridge was 301 feet tall and 2,053 feet long. It held the title of the world's tallest railroad viaduct until 2003. Today, the bridge is still standing tall, although part of it collapsed in 2003 due to a tornado. Nowadays, visitors can take a trip down the Skywalk, which is an observation platform that is supported with round steel towers. The view from this platform is stunning and goes from the Allegheny National Forest to the Kinzua Valley. The park also includes a nature area with some walking trails, picnic areas and a scenic vista. That is why the park is the perfect location for photographers and travelers alike!
