Khao Sok Smiley Lakehouse is a floating raft-house accommodation on Cheow Lan Lake, within the wider Khao Sok landscape near Khao Phang in Surat Thani Province. The reservoir, created by the Ratchaprapha Dam, fills a steep limestone valley where forested karst towers rise directly from green water. Simple bungalows and wooden walkways emphasize the scale and remoteness of the setting, while calm conditions can produce striking reflections of the cliffs. Morning mist, passing long-tail boats, and changing light across the rock faces shape the most recognizable scenes. The lakehouse is reached by boat, so arrivals and departures depend on arranged lake transport rather than road access.
