Kazakhstan Hotel and the Abay Kunanbaev Monument are two unique sites located in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan. The hotel was formerly the tallest building in Central Asia, and was constructed during the Soviet era. On the 28th floor of the hotel is a revolving restaurant that offers stunning views of the surrounding area. The Abay Kunanbaev Monument is a monument to the Kazakh poet, playwright and philosopher. Located nearby is the Presidential Palace, which houses several government ministries. Both sites offer interesting photo opportunities for photographers and are conveniently located near each other.
