Katedra biblických a historických vied is a university building in Bratislava, Slovakia. It is located in the city center and its distinctive style draws attention of many visitors. The building was designed by Otakar Novotný in 1957 and built between 1958 - 1962. It’s neo-renaissance style front facade is composed of three distinct sections distinguished by 11 yellow-ochra round windows and columns. Inside, the main area is a large cosy hall with old decor, complete with seating areas and book shelves. Visitors can also go up to the open balcony and admire panoramic views of the historic buildings of Bratislava. There's also a small museum of books and manuscripts, which can be visited upon request.
