Kastek is an archaeological site located in the central part of Kazakhstan in the Karaganda region. It is divided into two different sites - Kastek I and Kastek II. It is believed that Kastek was first settled in the Mid Bronze Age, around 2000BC. The site is notable for its pottery remains, stone tools and some remnants of the settlement. The site is surrounded by vegetation and hills that offer spectacular views. Visitors could take a walk around the ruins, explore the ancient pottery remains, study the tools used by ancient people and also admire the beautiful views of the area. Though the preserved ruins of Kastek are limited, the site is worth visiting for its historical and archaeological value.
