Located in the historic State Capitol building, the visitor center offers exciting and interactive exhibits with displays, artifacts, photographs, and interactive learning stations. Visitors can explore the State Capitol building, including the Senate and House of Representatives Chambers, the Hall of Governors, and the rotunda. Special exhibits located in the center include a life-size bronze statue of Kansas State’s fifteenth governor, Andrew Harold Reeder and a bust of former president Dwight Eisenhower. They also have access to a gift shop, cafeteria, and other amenities. Guided tours are available and last about an hour and fifteen minutes.
