Jerash Public Bath is a fascinating archaeological site in the city of Jerash, Jordan. This bath was first built in the second century CE, and is believed to be one of the earliest public water projects ever commissioned by the Roman Empire in the ancient world. It consists of a vast courtyard with interconnected rooms, many of which have been restored to their former grandeur, with ornately decorated stone walls and mosaic floors. The restored rooms showcase bathing and changing areas, a heating system, and a cold-water cistern, as well as various columns, statues, and steles. Currently, the venue hosts several events and galleries, and provides visitors with a unique insight into the little-known secrets of the city's ancient past.
