Jared L. Cohon University Center

The Jared L. Cohon University Center (also known as the Cohon Center) is a bustling and vibrant place on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As Carnegie Mellon's student union, the Cohon Center features a number of eateries, an entertainment venue and a host of student services. Medical, printing, career and other services are also loaded with incredible amenities for students. On the fourth floor, you can find the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-gold certified Smith Terrace, a tranquil spot that allows students to study, rest and relax. In the summertime, the 15-foot-tall shallow pool located in front of the Cohon Center is a great spot locals and visitors alike. From art exhibitions, to live performances, to movie screenings and other events - the Cohon Center offers plenty of activities and entertainment opportunities to join in throughout the year.
