This museum was once the site of the British military headquarter and is located in one of the oldest living cities in Asia. This two-story museum opens its doors to visitors for a peek into the city’s past. Here, you can find numerous artifacts, old documents and vintage photographs that unravel the city's history dating back to the 16th century, when the Sultanate of Banten was founded. Additionally, the museum also showcases ancient traditional weapons, ancient betel nut knive, and a bed from the Salkomsel-Van Riebeeck era. This museum serves as a great place to learn about Jakarta's past, culture, and lifestyle.
