Jacob's Ladder Bridge - New ZealandU@philbotha - UnsplashJacob's Ladder Bridge📍 New ZealandJacob's Ladder Bridge in Auckland, New Zealand, is a unique, pedestrian-only bridge with a suspended ladder-like structure that makes crossing from one side of the harbour to the other a truly unforgettable experience. The bridge, built in 1998 to link Parnell with the city centre, is part of a larger network of walking and cycling paths known as the Waterfront Route. It has over 100 steps in a very steep formation, and amazing views out to sea at the summit. Climbing up the bridge, visitors can take in the Harbor Bridge, the Sky Tower, the city's viaduct, and all the beautiful activity in and around Waitemata Harbour. During its short climb the bridge offers glimpses of the nearby shops, offices, cultural venues and maritime facilities. Despite its strenuous ascent, taking the climb down the ladder is well worth it. Be sure to plan ahead and bring a bottle of water and a camera to capture all the stunning coastal sights of Auckland.🗺 MapShow on Map🎫 Tourist attractionsCheck tourist attractions nearby🏨 HostelsCheck hostels nearby🌦 Weather informationGet weather information, and much more, from the app. Download it for free!🚕 How to get there?Get routes information (by car, walking, public transport, etc), and much more, from the app. Download it for free!
