The Izmaylovo Estate is a beautiful 16th century residence and park located in Moscow, Russia. Constructed in the mid-1500s as a summer retreat for Tsar Ivan the Terrible, the estate is now a museum and cultural center featuring open-air concerts, festivals, and tours of the old palace and its grounds. Inside the estate, visitors will find an old manor house complete with a bell tower, the 17th century rustic Church of the Holy Trinity, and several picturesque ponds situated in a stunning verdant park. The estate is also home to an array of artifacts and artwork, most notably the 'Tree of Life' bas-relief in the entrance hall, created by famous artist and architect Fyodor Shekhtel in 1917. As one of the few remaining landmarks of traditional Russian architecture, Izmaylovo Estate is a must for anyone visiting the city.
