The Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge, in Des Moines, United States, is a unique bridge that honors remarkable women of the state. Spanning the Des Moines river, the bridge is illuminated at night with the color pink, running along a walkway, bike path and benches. Dedicated in April 2019, the bridge pays homage to the exceptional women and their achievements, as well as to the city of Des Moines. The bridge also features a number of inspirational quotes, a timeline of achievements, and silhouettes of prominent Iowa women that are outlined in light.
