Inokashirabenzaiten Taiko Bridge is a popular asset in Mitaka, Japan. The bridge crosses over one of the Tama’s beautiful rivers, the Inokashira River. It has a distinctive Japanese look: it is quite low, yet it is about 40 m (131 feet) long with five large arches that span the river. The view from the bridge is simply breathtaking, giving you the opportunity to take a break and admire the river’s blue waters, the trees, and the palette of changing colors of nature. Also, there is an observation platform around the area where you can watch the lake’s flora and fauna, including various species of birds found only in Japan. But the most remarkable thing about the Taiko Bridge must be its low elevation over the river. This creates an atmosphere which travelers and photographers will certainly appreciate.
