Imperial Beach Pier is a famous 900 foot long pier located in Imperial Beach, California. It is one of the few remaining wooden piers along the San Diego County coast. It is the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, kite flying, or fish catching. Fishing off the pier is free and anglers can catch perch, halibut, mackerel, bonito, sardines and a variety of other fish. Visitors also get an excellent view of the local beach, harbor, and marine life. There are also public seating areas, conveniently located snack and beverage stands, and restrooms. To maximize your experience, don't forget to bring your sunscreen and a hat. For photographers, this popular pier is a great spot to capture some amazing sunrise or sunset photos, or take captivating photos of the beach or sea life.
