It is a 36-foot tall cross, made from retired electrical towers, which is covered with vines that have been illuminated with LED’s. Located in Dufferin Grove Park, north of Queen Street West and Dufferin Avenue, this unique cross provides a stunning sight during the night and day, attracting many visitors and photographers. To get here, you can easily access it via the 502 or 505 streetcar route. During the night, the cross is lit with multicolored LED’s to create an even more beautiful exhibit. Revelers and photographers alike have made the Illuminated Vine Covered Cross their subject of choice for their latest works.
