
Igreja de Santa Maria de Belem is a picturesque Roman Catholic Church located in Lisbon, Portugal. The Church is a part of the "Convent of the Monastic Order of the Sisters of Bethlehem" and dates back to the late 16th century. The main façade of the building is divided into three sections and architects have created an impressive baroque and classical style in the construction. Inside, visitors can find several chapels, colorful fresco paintings and magnificent marble sculptures that decorate the altar. The building's most iconic elements are undoubtedly the two impressive towers outfitted with baroque cupolas. The Church is open to the public every day and attracts a lot of visitors who come to admire its beauty and take amazing pictures.
