Iglesia de San Adrián y Santa Natalia is a spectacular medieval church in the small mountain town of Autol, located in the province of La Rioja in Northern Spain. It dates back to the 11th century and is a stunning example of Mudejar-style architecture; a combination of Christian, Islamic, and Gothic influences. From the outside, the church is impressively adorned with a decoratively carved bell tower, bright arches, and various reliefs. On the inside, the church features a single nave, a magnificent rose window, and many ornamental details reminiscent of Gothic and Mudéjar patterns. The church is a popular tourist destination, as it offers an insight into the town’s past and the culture of Northern Spain. Visitors should also note that there is an adjacent museum devoted to the art and history of the area.
