Iglesia de Albaida, also known as the Church of Santa Maria, is a historic church located in the town of Albaida, Spain. Built in the 16th century, it is considered a prime example of Valencian Renaissance architecture. The exterior features intricate stonework and a beautiful bell tower, while the interior boasts a stunning Baroque altarpiece. Visitors can also admire the impressive organ, which is one of the main attractions of the church. Entrance to the church is free, but donations are accepted. The church is open for visitors from Tuesday to Sunday, with limited hours on holidays. Photography is allowed inside, but flash and tripods are not permitted. For a unique experience, it is recommended to attend one of the weekly mass celebrations, where you can witness the vibrant religious fervor of the local community. Parking is available nearby, and guided tours are also offered for a small fee. Keep in mind that the church is an active place of worship, so please be respectful of the religious services and dress appropriately.
