Ieud Hill Church is an old wooden church in Ieud, Romania, located atop a small hill on the outskirts of the small town. This traditional Romanian Orthodox Church was built in 1721 and is one of the oldest surviving wooden churches in the country. It features intricate artisan-crafted wooden carvings on the exterior and inside of the church, including the impressive 19m tall *schifix*, which adorns the interior of the church. The interior of the church is brightly decorated with painted icons, while its exterior is simple and completely made of wood. Set against the rolling hills of Romania, its location provides breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. It's a must-see for anyone visiting this part of the country for its rich cultural and historical significance.
