Iceberg Peak

Iceberg Peak, located in Browning, Montana, gives visitors an expansive view of the prairie and several stunning mountain ranges. This state natural heritage site consists of untamed prairie, ungrazed cattle-land, and several Native American artifacts, giving visitors an idea of the history and natural bounty of the plains. The peak itself is approximately 6,000 feet tall and offers its visitors plenty of opportunities for exploration and to take in the stunning views that stretch for miles. No matter the time of year Iceberg Peak has something to offer; wildflowers in the spring, the vibrant colors of fall and peacefulness in the winter. Camping, bird-watching and hiking are some of the activities you can do while visiting the peak. More adventurous visitors may try their hand at mountain biking or horseback riding both of which can be found in the area.
