Hygieia-Brunnen is a fountain in Hamburg, Germany. It is named after Hygieia, the goddess of health and hygiene in Greek mythology. Located on the corner of Ballindamm, it is one of the most iconic public works of art in the city. The fountain, designed by Charles Crodel, depicts four figures representing four major rivers of the world: the Elbe, Amazon, Mississippi and the Congo. This is a popular tourist attraction and a great spot for taking photos. Make sure to bring your camera when you visit!
