Hurricane Falls
📍 From Tallulah Gorge - Suspension Bridge, United States
Hurricane Falls is a 96-foot waterfall on the Tallulah River within Tallulah Gorge State Park, beside the town of Tallulah Falls in northeastern Georgia. Its drop is enclosed by steep rock walls, making the gorge’s depth and rugged structure as striking as the water itself. A suspension bridge crosses the river above the gorge floor, and a lower viewing platform brings visitors closer to the falls. White water against dark, textured rock creates a strong visual contrast, while the wooded slopes help convey the scale of the ravine. Reaching the lower platform involves several hundred stairs and a substantial climb back to the rim; exploring the gorge floor requires a separate park permit.
