The Hungarian State Opera Building, located in Budapest, Hungary, is a neo-Renaissance structure constructed in 1884. This spectacular building is considered a landmark and is designated a World Heritage Site. It has been host to well-known operas and ballets including Ruslan and Ludmilla, The Barber of Seville, La Scala di Seta and Don Giovanni. The interior is a magnificent example of nineteenth-century theatre architecture, with ornate marble staircases and golden frescoes on the walls and ceilings.
