The Hungarian Parliament Building is an iconic building and the most iconic landmark of Budapest, Hungary. It is a magnificent Neo-Gothic structure built in the 19th century. The building stands 268 m (879 ft) long and 123 m (404 ft) wide and is situated on the banks of the Danube River in Kossuth Square. The building is home to the National Assembly, the legislative body of Hungary, and is a must-see for any visitor. It's a great spot to marvel at its intricate exterior architecture, and the interior too is a visual feast of grandeur. Visitors can take guided tours of the building, and learn about its history and its importance in Hungary. The Parliament Building is also a great spot to get an amazing photo of the sun setting beyond the Danube River - just make sure you don't use your flash!
