The Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest is one of the most iconic landmarks of the city. Constructed in the late 19th century, it is a grandiose representation of the Hungarian artistry and architecture. The building, which houses the National Assembly of Hungary, has 691 leviathan steps leading up to the entrance and is embellished with 90 statues of Hungarian Kings and Heroes. Its majestic dome crowned by the Hungarian coat of arms makes the building even more spectacular. The building interior is as opulent as its exterior, with sculptures, intricately decorated marble staircases, and ornate paintings throughout.Visitors are allowed to take a guided tour of the building and get a closer look at the grandiose staircases and numerous halls.
