Hoonah-Angoon is a region in Southeast Alaska, United States on the Alexander Archipelago. It consists of three communities: the fishing town of Hoonah, Pelican town and the village of Angoon. The people of Hoonah-Angoon are predominantly Tlingit, an Indigenous people of the Northwest Coast. The region is renowned for its dramatic mountain and glacier views, deep fjords, and its rich cultural heritage. Enjoy the wild beauty of waterfalls, lakes, and peaks as well as the incredible wildlife. View whales, sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions, and a variety of seabirds.
