Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, also known as Sameba, is a 20th-century Eastern Orthodox cathedral located in Tbilisi, Georgia. The cathedral is a dominant feature of the skyline of the Georgian capital and is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world. It is an early example of some of the most important architectural trends in the Caucasus of the 21st century - the fusion of Orthodox and traditional Georgian architecture. The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity also serves as a consecrated religious center for the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Autocephalous Church. The grand 5-story church has a rich decoration of exterior walls, including 21 faceted domes, tall bell tower and multiple chapels. The Serapion Tent-like Church and the Monument of the Unknown Warrior are situated behind the Cathedral.
