Holy Name Of Jesus Cathedral

The Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh, United States, is the largest church building in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh. Located near North Carolina State University, the cathedral features a striking contemporary design and has 22 stained glass windows, along with a number of large sculptures decorated with gold leaf throughout the interior. The square tower, reaching nearly 300 feet in height, dominates the southeast end of the city skyline and is visible from many points in downtown Raleigh. The grand organ has over 4,000 pipes filling the interior and exterior of the building. Visitors of all faiths are welcome to tour the cathedral, which is open daily from 8am to 5pm, and join in several Masses during the week.
