The Holy Family Shrine in Gretna, United States is a strong site of faith for thousands of Catholic pilgrims annually. Here stands a 90-foot white marble statue of the Holy Family (Jesus, Mary, and Joseph) and is surrounded by gardens and 21 concrete pylons that each bear a scripture from the Bible. The shrine is a popular spot for reflection and celebration, with Masses held every Sunday during the summer months. Located just 12 miles west of Omaha, Nebraska, Holy Family Shrine also provides serene walking paths, a rosary walk, and unique storytelling sculptures. Visitors may also enjoy a nature preserve featuring two miles of walking trails through more than 3,000 acres of woodlands.
