📍 From Garden, Japan
Hokkaido Government Red Brick Office, or officially known as the Hokkaido Museum is a former administrative building in Sapporo, Japan. The building was originally built between 1886 and 1888, making it the oldest brick building still standing in the city. The building is 2 stories tall and painted red, which is why it is called the Red Brick Office. It is now a museum, housing many exhibits of historical documents and artifacts relating to Hokkaido's history. The building is also used as a venue for events and concerts from time to time. The exterior of the building has been preserved, as it was in the late 19th century, making it a perfect backdrop for photos. The building is open to the public and there are no admission fees.
