📍 Germany
The Hohenzollernbrücke (Hohenzollern Bridge) in Köln, Germany is a railway bridge that crosses the Rhine River. It connects two of the most iconic landmarks in Köln, the Köln Cathedral on the north side and the Orth Bridge. The bridge is named after the Hohenzollern dynasty, but the design is unlike any bridge ever built before. It has the highest arch (Bogen) in the world and was built with more than 16,000 tons of steel. It also has more than 652 lights that illuminate it at night. It is such a beautiful sight and a favorite among travel photographers. A stroll along the bridge in the evening is an absolute must while in Köln.
