Hohenzollern Castle, located in Hechingen, Germany, is one of the finest medieval castles in all of Europe. Built in the 11th century, the castle is full of incredible architecture and history. The castle has two distinct parts: the older Burg and the 19th century Burganlage. The castle has seen many different rulers throughout the ages, with its most famous owner being King Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia. In addition to being a great historical site, Hohenzollern Castle houses the tomb of the Prussian kings and royal family members. Visitors can explore the grand interior of the castle, visit the chapel, and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding area from the castle's walls. There are also several restaurants and cafes located in the nearby village. Hohenzollern Castle provides visitors with a unique and unforgettable experience.
