Hofkirche mit Silberner Kapelle, in Innsbruck, Austria is a beautiful Baroque church located on Innsbruck's main square. Built between 1673 and 1683, it is home to some of Austria's most important monuments and artifacts, including the Black Madonna and the fifteenth-century marmor-Hofgrab. Inside, the church's sacristy is home to the famous Silver Chapel, which is decorated with sculptures of the saints and Austrian rulers. Its other highlights include the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I and a large organ built in 1702 by Ferdinand Strasser. Visitors to the church will be drawn in by the magnificent exterior, and then enchanted by the tranquility and beauty of the chapel.
