Hintersee is an amazing lake set in the Austrian Alps, just North of Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden, Germany. This spot is a paradise for landscape photographers. On clear days, the lake reflects the rugged peaks of the Watzmann mountain range, making for breathtaking views. It is an easy hike to reach the shores of the lake, and the trails offer sparkling blue and green views of the waters. There is also an alpine guesthouse nearby, with plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the majestic views. Bring your camera and some snacks and enjoy the peaceful Lake Hintersee!
