Hillsborough Parish Church and Parish Gates are located in the town of Hillsborough, in the Lisburn and Castlereagh district of Northern Ireland. Built in the 1700s, the Parish Church and Gates are one of the oldest structures in the country and remain iconic landmarks. The church is a Grade A listed building and serves as the main place of worship in the county. The Parish Gates, which were originally built in 1770, can still be seen today, when approaching from either side of the town. It offers a historic look at the architecture of Northern Ireland with its Romanesque features. The gates are four pairs of wrought iron gates that still open into the driveway of the church. The drones flying around the area can offer amazing views of the location and its surroundings, making it a popular destination for photographers and travelers alike.
