High Line's Skybridge is a unique and iconic hourglass-shaped bridge in New York City, connecting Chelsea and Hudson Yards. It was designed by the world-renowned architect, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, and constructed in a partnership between The Related Companies and HEÉRMÈS GROUP. This daring infrastructure is a pedestrian bridge that sits 10 stories in the air, suspended by cables over West 30th Street.

The bridge highlights stunning views of the Hudson River and New York skyline along with the neighbourhood scenery. It has futuristic seating designed by the landscape company James Corner Field Operations and its terraced decking is made with materials to encourage the growth of weather-resistant greenery without the need of water. The bridge was engineered to withstand strong winds and shaking in case of an earthquake. Photographers can marvel at this great feat of engineering and architecture by walking it, or photograph it from many different angles around the city.
