High Line Plinth and The Spur is a public art installation composed of four huge sculptures that overlook the High Line park in New York City. Designed by renowned Brazilian artist Edouard Nezin, the sculptures are made of Cor-ten steel and are meant to represent different animals. The centerpiece of the work, The Spur, is an enormous 200-foot-long horse that stands impressively at the northern edge of the park. Along with The Spur, you will find a giant three-piece beetle, a giant hummingbird, and a skeletal bird with a pointed beak — all of them providing a unique and beautiful perspective of the city. The sculptures are accessible by stairs, and just walking around them is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So take your chance to admire the beauty and symbolism of this remarkable public art installation!
