Her Majesty's Theatre is a celebrated West End theater located near the Haymarket in London. It opened back in 1705, and is a grand Victorian theatre which nowadays plays host to iconic productions such as The Phantom of the Opera and Disney’s The Lion King. Besides its theatrical history, Her Majesty's Theatre is also a designated Grade II listed building, with its exterior having been modeled after the Petit Trianon in Versailles. The interiors are equally as stunning, and proudly display the years of history that have passed since 1705. It is definitely worth a visit for its architecture and history. The theatre is a quick walk from the ‘Piccadilly Circus’ station, and all shows are located in the same location. With plenty of nearby restaurants and café’s, Her Majesty’s Theatre is the perfect destination for a night out.
