📍 From Inside, United States
The Henry Clay Frick House in New York was built in 1913 for industrialist Henry Clay Frick. This Renaissance-style palazzo was designed by the architectural firm Carrère & Hastings, and it's located on Fifth Avenue. Today, the building houses The Frick Collection, a museum of European Art from the 15th-19th centuries. It includes masterpieces by Bellini, El Greco, Holbein, Rembrandt, Veronese, Van Dyck, Titian, and many more. The collection includes paintings, drawings, bronzes, porcelain, and decorative arts. Guided tours of the museum are offered daily. The garden at this home features a fountain, a small pavilion, and a garden gate designed by architect John Russell Pope. You can also find a café and a small gift shop inside the building.
