Heilig Kreuz is a 15th century Gothic church located in Landsberg am Lech, Germany. Heilig Kreuz is one of the most important landmarks of the city, and its history is indelibly linked with that of the city. The church’s main attraction is its beautiful towers, which are richly decorated with sculptures and have remained unchanged for centuries. Inside, visitors can marvel at the beautiful Gothic artistry of the frescos, the numerous altar pieces and artifacts, and the ornately carved choir stalls. There is much to explore, including the crypt and several memorial chapels where the city’s nobility is interred. The church is open to visitors during regular church hours.
