Heerema Rozenburg is an interesting destination for photographers in the Netherlands. It is a former habourland industrial site, now with a nature reserve on one side of the harbour and the industrial storage tanks and factories on the other. You can make a stop here to visit the 18th-century Rotterdam Monument Museum and the new Rozenburg Harbour Museum, featuring the history of the industrial site. There are also dewatering machines in the harbor, a project of its own. The industrial heritage of the port makes it a special kind of place, where nature and industry come together. A nice boardwalk between them gives you great views of the harbour and gives you a greater appreciation of the landscape. The Heerema Rozenburg Storage Terminal is another sight to be admired here, a huge steel tank filled with crude oil. This is a unique and exciting place to explore and a must-see for photographers!
