Heceta Head Lighthouse, in Heceta Beach, United States is a breathtaking sight. Built in 1894, it stands at 205 feet and is one of the most iconic and most photographed lighthouses in the US. Located in the central Oregon coast about 12 miles north of Florence, the site offers plenty of activities, perfect for a weekend retreat. You can explore the beach, which is dotted with driftwood, or take a hike on the surrounding trails. The Santa Clara Viewpoint nearby makes for a great photo op, and the old lighthouse offers a great place to take pictures. There is also a former Coast Guard station just a few yards away. Heceta Head Lighthouse is a great place for relaxing and spending a few days in nature.
